Reach New Heights with the Nordkette Cable Car
The Nordkette cable cars don’t just bring you up to Hungerburg, where you’ll find Sweet Cherry – they take you even higher, all the way to Hafelekar, the famous Top of Innsbruck. In fact, there’s not just one cable car but three different lifts that whisk you up the mountain in stages. Yet it takes just a few minutes to leave the city centre behind and glide into Austria’s largest nature park, with breathtaking panoramic views across Innsbruck and deep into the majestic Karwendel mountains.
Operating Hours
From 1 June to 30 September, the Nordkette cable cars operate for an extra hour in the evening:
Last descent on the Hafelekar cable car: 6:00 pm
Last descent on the Seegrube cable car: 6:30 pm
Last descent on the Hungerburg funicular: 7:15 pm
